Are you supervising again?

I'll start off by saying that this blog post very nearly didn't happen, and it very nearly didn't happen for a multitude of reasons:
I have had roughly 9 hours sleep over the last few nights due to the windy weather (I'm going to write a post about this at some point, I bet you're thrilled at that thought) as well as some other reasons we won't go into. I look and feel like a zombie from the Walking Dead, I also feel as though someone has hit me with their car, thumped me on the head with a bag of bricks and then repeated the process.
Me and my friends have spent most of the day getting angry at each other whilst playing Overcooked. Years of friendship nearly gone down the drain over someone accidentally throwing the soup in the bin (That someone was probably me)
Anyway, enough of my sob story! This week's post is a part 2 to this beauty. Yes, that's right we were going to be one step closer to finishing the back room. Hoorah!
After we took the blue sink out, I decided to get off my lazy arse and get the floor finished over a couple of evenings. You can see the process of me doing this in the video below. Anyway, the aim of the day was to get a panel fitted on the port side of the boat to cover up where the plumbing was for the sink, get some shelves fitted, and tidy up the electrics. My dad came over to give me a hand with this, I will put a disclaimer in here and say that I literally did bugger all, I was "supervising". The process of my dad doing all of the hard work can be seen in the lengthy time-lapse below so I won't go into too much detail. If you make it to the end of it then I applaud you!
Something I've learnt from laying the floor and getting the shelves fitted? Nothing on a boat is straight or, indeed, level!
A bit of a lazy one today but I wanted to leave you with another deep music recommendation (you lucky people) I dedicate this week's song to my friends, is it weird that I've dedicated a love song to my friends, absolutely not... I don't think it is anyway! Apart from my parents who basically encouraged me to purchase the boat and were the most supportive people around (perhaps I'll write a post about how cool my parents are), my friends were also just as encouraging. You see, I have quite a tight knit group of friends and we've known each other for roughly 17 years. Throughout those years, I can hand on heart tell you that we've had each others backs through pretty much everything, it's a pretty sweet thing. Without further ado, this song is Right Down The Line by Gerry Rafferty
